So it's been a while since I've blogged. I got caught up in the busyness of the holidays in December, then computer problems prevented me from posting pictures through much of January so I didn't bother blogging.
Now that the computer problems have been resolved, I think I'm ready to get back into a blog routine. Ironically, I have also felt a pull to write more photo-less posts. Posts about our homeschooling life-- not just the "stuff" we do. More about the days that just suck. More about the days that make me glad we've decided to homeschool. More about my messy house and my envy of the super-organized. More about my highly distractible, ADHD/SPD first grader and the things that work/don't work in teaching him at home... including my struggles against losing my patience with him.
I think writing more about this time in our lives will serve as a nice keepsake for our family, a sanity-saver for me, and (hopefully) an encouragement for others. Of course I still want to post all of our crafts and fun food and themed activities, just with a bit more real real life mixed in.
